Vehicle crime is one of our current locally identified priorities in South Northamptonshire.

Across the area a number vehicles have been targeted, particularly vans, however there is no specific pattern, making it difficult to focus our resources on one specific area.

We are patrolling in both marked and unmarked vehicles and we are working with our colleagues from neighbouring forces who are experiencing similar issues. We are also using overt and covert tactics to address this rising issue. Northamptonshire isn't unique in the rise in vehicle crime.
