Burglary in Upper High Street, HARPOLE


Dear Resident

We are appealing for information about a burglary at an outbuilding on Upper High Street, Harpole. The burglary happened overnight on the 25th April 2024 to the 26th April 2024 between 6pm and 6am.

The offender or offenders have damaged fencing and locks to gain access to a stable block used for commerical purposes.

A leaf blower was stolen from the property, and an attempted made to possibly remove a battery from an old tractor.

Business burglary

  • Ensure your premises are alarmed. If you are in a remote location, your alarm should be remotely monitored and any confirmed activations forwarded directly to police for response.
  • Make sure your premises has good lighting covering access points and dark or hidden areas
  • Invest in CCTV to deter and detect crime
  • Retailers should leave their tills empty overnight with till drawer left open to avoid any damage
  • Valuable items should be stored within a securely locked cupboard/cage within the building
