We have received reports of repeated criminal damage in the form of graffiti, to the racecourse wall along the A5, opposite Park View Road (next to the green gates). The wording is hateful and Islamophobic. 

The Town Council are removing the graffiti on a weekly basis and within 24hrs it is reappearing. This is mostly happening overnight between Monday - Tuesday but has appeared on other weekdays. 

We are appealing to the public for information/witnesses and have conducted house to house in the area today. If you know any information, please contact police on 101 and quote the reference, 24000558532. If you witness this happening at the time, please call 999.
