Attempted Burglary Dayton Street/Wellingborough Road Rushden


 

Dear Resident

We are appealing for information about a burglary at a Business on Dayton Street/Wellingborough Road Rushden.  The burglary happened on 4th October between times 02:15Hrs and 02:45Hrs

The offenders attempted to  forced entry through the Main Shutters at the front of the BEST ONE OFF LICENSE this would have been very noisy. Three perpetrators were seen running from the area down Dayton Road towards Station Road/Moor Road.

Business burglary

  • Ensure your premises are alarmed. If you are in a remote location, your alarm should be remotely monitored and any confirmed activations forwarded directly to police for response.
  • Make sure your premises has good lighting covering access points and dark or hidden areas
  • Invest in CCTV to deter and detect crime
  • Retailers should leave their tills empty overnight with till drawer left open to avoid any damage
  • Valuable items should be stored within a securely locked cupboard/cage within the building
