It's that time of the year again where we approach 2 celebrations in a short time apart from one another. Between October and November, we receive high volumes of calls regarding Anti-Social behaviour due to people getting carried away by these celebrations. We are asking people to remember and remind others that this time of the year is not enjoyed by everyone and to respect those that do and do not celebrate. 

Trick or Treating - We urge those partaking in this celebration to avoid knocking on houses displaying no trick or treat signage. ‘Tricks’ are supposed to be harmless pranks which causes no alarm, distress or damage. Be respectful to others and their properties, stay safe and look after each other. If you are taking family members or a group trick or treating, be sure you know where they are at all times and keep an eye on them. If you or anyone else is in danger, please call 999.

Bonfire Night - Fires and fireworks cause thousands of injuries across the UK each year. We ask that any fires or fireworks displays are done in a controlled manner as when uncontrolled, they could lead to spreading quickly and endangering lives. Fireworks (category 2 & 3) can only be bought, carried or used by over 18's, they cannot be set off after 11pm (midnight on the 5th November). It is an offence to set off fireworks in the street or any other public space.
