Theft from a vehicle- Long Buckby

Dear Resident

We are appealing for information after Number plates were stolen from a Brown Mitsubishi Shogun on Lime Avenue, Long Buckby

The theft occurred between between Monday 14th October 2024 from 10:30pm - Tuesday 15th October 2024 to 8am.

We are keen to hear from anyone who may have any information relating to the theft of these items or that may have been in the area around the time of the incident and heard or seen anything suspicious.

There are some simple but effective things you can do to help protect your vehicle:

Park your car in a garage or driveway if possible, or on a busy, well-lit road. Choose a ParkMark® accredited public car park wherever possible

Never leave anything on display in your car. The cost to repair damage to the vehicle will usually exceed the value of the theft

Drivers of some Toyota and Honda vehicles and some 4 x 4’s should install measures to deter theft of catalytic converts e.g Catloc | Catalytic Convertor Theft Protection
