Theft from a vehicle Crime East Northants

Dear Resident

We are appealing for information after a spate of Vehicle crime all over East Northants over the last two weeks, This Ranges from Cars and Vans being Broken into, and the theft of Number plates,

We are keen to hear from anyone who may have any information relating to these thefts , If you have ring doorbells or CCTV and you are aware of such incidents can you please check

There are some simple but effective things you can do to help protect your vehicle:

Park your car in a garage or driveway if possible, or on a busy, well-lit road. Choose a ParkMark® accredited public car park wherever possible

Never leave anything on display in your car. The cost to repair damage to the vehicle will usually exceed the value of the theft

Drivers of some Toyota and Honda vehicles and some 4 x 4’s should install measures to deter theft of catalytic converts e.g Catloc | Catalytic Convertor Theft Protection
