Burglary in St. Johns Road - TIFFIELD


Dear Resident

We are appealing for information about a burglary at a construction site on St. Johns Road, TIFFIELD. The burglary happened on overnight between the 31st October 2024 and the 1st November 2024, between 5pm and 7pm.

The offender or offenders gain access to the site, and steal a significant quantity of copper piping, the piping has since been found and recovered.

Business burglary

  • Ensure your premises are alarmed. If you are in a remote location, your alarm should be remotely monitored and any confirmed activations forwarded directly to police for response.
  • Make sure your premises has good lighting covering access points and dark or hidden areas
  • Invest in CCTV to deter and detect crime
  • Retailers should leave their tills empty overnight with till drawer left open to avoid any damage
  • Valuable items should be stored within a securely locked cupboard/cage within the building
