OLD STRATFORD - Attempted Theft from a vehicle


Dear Resident

We are appealing for information after a there was an attempted theft from a car/van in Deanshanger Road, Old Stratford

The attempted occurred at approximately 1.45am on the 12th November 2024 when the vehicle was parked on the callers driveway.

We are keen to hear from anyone who may have any information relating to the theft of these items or that may have been in the area around the time of the incident and heard or seen anything suspicious. Please call us on 101 quoting reference number 24000675097 or report to us online here.

There are some simple but effective things you can do to help protect your vehicle:

  • Park your car in a garage or driveway if possible, or on a busy, well-lit road.  Choose a ParkMark® accredited public car park wherever possible
  • Never leave anything on display in your car. The cost to repair damage to the vehicle will usually exceed the value of the theft
  • Drivers of some Toyota and Honda vehicles and some 4 x 4’s should install measures to deter theft of catalytic converts e.g  Catloc | Catalytic Convertor Theft Protection
