Burglary- Yelvertoft

Dear Resident

We are appealing for information about a burglary to outbuildings, High Street, Yelvertoft. The burglary happened on Saturday 9th November 2024 from 6:15pm - Tuesday 12th November 2024 to 6:15am.

The offender or offenders forced entry to the containers. Nothing stolen at this time.

Did you see anyone or any vehicle(s) in the area that looked suspicious?

Business burglary

  • Ensure your premises are alarmed. If you are in a remote location, your alarm should be remotely monitored and any confirmed activations forwarded directly to police for response.
  • Make sure your premises has good lighting covering access points and dark or hidden areas
  • Invest in CCTV to deter and detect crime
  • Retailers should leave their tills empty overnight with till drawer left open to avoid any damage
  • Valuable items should be stored within a securely locked cupboard/cage within the building
