As the darker and colder nights are definitely upon us, we often see a rise in residential burglary offences at this time of year, with many households stocked with ‘shiny’ new gifts ready for Christmas festivities. Therefore households sadly often become more attractive for criminals, please keep your properties locked and secure at all times and don't leave valuable items on show.

Did you know - lighting outside the property combined with other measures such as alarms and locks, will improve the overall security of your home.

Fact – a location where the criminal feels uncomfortable and exposed is less likely to be targeted.

Lets keep the burglars out! Your local Neighbourhood Policing Teams are out conducting targeted patrols, if you see something suspicious or have any information relating to those involved in such criminality please do report it
