Attempt theft from a vehicle.

We are appealing for information after an attempted theft from a vehicle parked on Cotswold Drive, Wellingborough

The theft occurred between 2.20am and 2.30am on 25/12/2024 when a attempt by trying the door handles was made whilst it was parked on Cotswold Drive.

We are keen to hear from anyone who may have any information relating to the attempt theft or that may have been in the area around the time of the incident and heard or seen anything suspicious. Please call us on 101 quoting reference number 24000765885 or report to us online here.

There are some simple but effective things you can do to help protect your vehicle:

Park your car in a garage or driveway if possible, or on a busy, well-lit road. Choose a ParkMark® accredited public car park wherever possible

Never leave anything on display in your car. The cost to repair damage to the vehicle will usually exceed the value of the theft

Drivers of some Toyota and Honda vehicles and some 4 x 4’s should install measures to deter theft of catalytic converts e.g Catloc | Catalytic Convertor Theft Protection
