Burglary in Cedar Drive Thrapston

 

Dear Resident

We are appealing for information about a burglary at The Nene Centre  on Cedar Drive Thrapston . The burglary happened on Sunday The 5th January between the times of 12:40am and 12:50am.

The offender or offenders forced through the front door . Unsure at this moment in time if anything was taken

Business burglary

  • Ensure your premises are alarmed. If you are in a remote location, your alarm should be remotely monitored and any confirmed activations forwarded directly to police for response.
  • Make sure your premises has good lighting covering access points and dark or hidden areas
  • Invest in CCTV to deter and detect crime
  • Retailers should leave their tills empty overnight with till drawer left open to avoid any damage
  • Valuable items should be stored within a securely locked cupboard/cage within the building
