Fallowing reports on Roade social media of a "large XL bully type dog at large in High Street we can confirm Northamptonshire Police have now spoken to the dog's owners.

The Dog is confirmed as being a Dog de Bordeaux, which is not currently a banned breed in the UK.

Advice has been given to the owners about keeping their dog secure.
