PCSO Matt Taylor from the South Northamptonshire Neighbourhood Team visited 58th Northampton (Ishan) Scout Group on Monday evening. 58th Northampton Scout Group is predominently for young people from the Muslim community.

Matt spoke to the Beavers & Cubs about the role of the Police Community Support Officer, and Police Officer as part of their community badge, Matt also spoke about key aspects of personal safety, including the Hand of Trust, a way of children easily remembering who their trusted adults are. Matt is also a Scout Leader in his spare time in Northampton District.

Matt also lauched a Community Impact project with the Beavers & Cubs, and will be returning to the group in April where the Beavers and Cubs will be presenting their ideas.
