Achurch - Rural Large Outhouse break -in

 

Dear Resident,

We are investigating a Rural Outhouse Break-in in the village of Achurch (approx half way between Oundle & Thrapston.

We now Know the theft occurred at approx 7.50pm on Thur 20 Feb, Culprits break- into a large Outhouse causing damage to Barn style Vehicle sized wooden Doors.

A nearby resident actually disturbed the Burglary and nothing was stolen.  

Please contact Northamptonshire Police on 101 quoting 25000103073 if you have any information or dadh cam footage from around this time. Alternatively you can report online here.

You can also pass on information anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

 

Garage break 

  • If you have a burglar alarm at home, ensure it extends to cover the garage too.
  • Add external lighting to cover the garage door.
  • If your garage has windows, keep these closed and locked
  • Additional mortice locks can be added to ‘up and over’ garage doors to improve security
