Attempted theft of a motorbike, Newcomen Road, Wellingborough.

We are appealing for information after an attempted theft of a motor bike Newcomen Road, Wellingborough.

The Attempted theft of a motor bike occurred on 26th March 2025 whilst it was parked on Newcomen Road, an angle grinder was used to try and remove the chain.

We are keen to hear from anyone who may have any information relating to the attempted theft of the motor bike or that may have been in the area around the time of the incident and heard or seen anything suspicious. There are some simple but effective things you can do to help protect your vehicle:

Park your car in a garage or driveway if possible, or on a busy, well-lit road. Choose a ParkMark® accredited public car park wherever possible

Never leave anything on display in your car. The cost to repair damage to the vehicle will usually exceed the value of the theft

Drivers of some Toyota and Honda vehicles and some 4 x 4’s should install measures to deter theft of catalytic converts e.g Catloc | Catalytic Convertor Theft Protection
