Dear resident, Officers from Op Fragment alongside officers from Daventry Neighbourhood Team have conducted pro-active enforcement in Daventry town on Friday 28/03/2025 related to drug dealing within the community on the Grange, Headlands and Middlemore estates. This has resulted in a quantity of drugs, cash and other evidence linked to the offence of possession with intent to supply being seized along with the subsequent arrest of an individual with the investigation continuing. During this activity a vehicle was seized related to the above activity. We would like to encourage the reporting of this behaviour within our community, this will assist police to take positive action against the individuals responsible. Have you seen suspicious activity in the community, is this something that you've been witnessing for a period of time? have you seen exchanges taking place? Is there a open space or address that is being used to use/deal drugs that would benefit from police enforcement? Do you know of an individual or a group that are involved in the distribution of drugs within the community? Are there vehicles involved in these incidents? - do the persons involved in the activity use e-bikes or motorbikes?
