Locally Identified Priorities: Giving feedback - you said, we did

Dear Residents

We made a commitment to making change on the HIGHFIELD AREA of KETTERING.

Our approach has been based on what local people told us concerned them most in their neighbourhood, as well as local crime statistics and information from our partners (such as the local council).

These priorities have been the focus of much of our work over the last three months and below is an update about some of the work we have been doing to tackle them.

Update on activities and results

We have conducted various patrols around the HIGHFIELD ESTATE and surrounding streets with a view of detecting crime and reassuring the public.

Yesterday 08th May 2025 officers have observed two suspicious males in balaclavas enter SPRING RISE PARK and when seeing police have tried evading officers discreetly in a hedge row within the park. Officers have located the two males, detained them and found one of the males to be in possession of a lockable flick knife and cannabis and the second male in possession of cannabis. Both were subsequently arrested and will face charges/court appearance.

We want to assure the community we will continue to tackle crimes of this type with a zero tolerance approach and if you have any concerns to get in touch.
