Op Sceptre - Knife Amnesties in Kettering Next Week!

 

Dear Resident,

 

Officers from your local neighbourhood policing team will be holding the following Knife Amnesties as part of Op Sceptre.

 

Op Sceptre is a National  Week of Action to focus on Knife Crime.  From Monday 19th May 2025 until Sunday 25th May 2025 Kettering Neighbourhood Policing Team will be carrying out  their week of action.  There will be Education and Awareness as we speak to young people about the dangers of carrying knives, Knife Amnesties where you can safely dispose of any unwanted knifes as well as Patrols and enforcement.

14:00 - 16:00 Co-op, Desborough

 

Tuesday 20th May 2025

10:00 - 11:00 Highfield Road (near Mikado Pheasant), Kettering 

12:00 - 14:00 Sainsbury's, Burton Latimer

15:00 - 16:00 Red Lion, Broughton 

 

Wednesday 21st May 2025

10:00 - 12:00 The Centre, Mawsley

 

Thursday 22nd May 2025

10:00 - 12:00 Brambleside Shopping Precinct, Kettering

14:00 - 16:00 Co-op, St Johns Road, Kettering

 

Friday 23rd May 2025

10:00 - 12:00 Market Square, Rothwell

17:00 - 1900 Horsemarket, Kettering

 

Saturday 24th May 2025

10:00 - 13:00 Gold Street, Kettering 

 

Please come along to speak to your local officers and dispose of any unwanted knives and sharp items from within your home. 

This is to help tackle knife crime in location which is a priority for Northamptonshire Police.
