Incident on High Street/Greenway today (11/07)

Good evening, 

We are aware of the incident on the Greenway/High Street junction in Rushden today (11/07) at around 1530. I would like to thank everyone who reported the incident to the Police; officers from the Local Neighbourhood Team deployed to the incident, and two arrests have been made. 

I understand this incident has caused distress among the community, especially with the amount of children that were present at the time. I would like to reassure you that the investigation is ongoing and the two people remain in custody at the time of writing.
