Theft from a vehicle Annesley Close

Dear Resident

We are appealing for information after an Audi Q2 had the Undertray removed. It's suspected to be an attempted catalytic converter theft that took place in Annesley Close, Northampton

It occurred between 05:30 & 05:35 on 09/09/25 whilst the Audi was parked on Annesley Close

We are keen to hear from anyone who may have any information relating to the theft or that may have been in the area around the time of the incident and heard or seen anything suspicious. Please call us on 101 quoting reference number 25000531004 or report to us online here. The offender drove off in a vehicle similar to the one shown in attached image

There are some simple but effective things you can do to help protect your vehicle:

Park your car in a garage or driveway if possible, or on a busy, well-lit road. Choose a ParkMark® accredited public car park wherever possible

Never leave anything on display in your car. The cost to repair damage to the vehicle will usually exceed the value of the theft

Drivers of some Toyota and Honda vehicles and some 4 x 4’s should install measures to deter theft of catalytic converts e.g Catloc | Catalytic Convertor Theft Protection
