Are there parking issues in the area?

Dear residents,

I have recently received some concerns around parking issues in the area. I wanted to provide you with some advice around what is illegal parking, and when to report this.

When should I report parking to the Police?

You should report illegal parking to us. This includes:

Parking on zig-zag lines
Parking dangerously
Parking in a way that would prevent emergency vehicles from accessing

You can report these to us online

When should I report parking to the Council?

Parking over a dropped kerb

Parking on a pedestrian crossing (including the area marked by white zig-zag lines)

Parking in spaces reserved for Blue Badge holders, residents or motorbikes (unless entitled to do so)

Parking in marked taxi bays, cycle lanes or red lines

Parking near a school entrance, bus or tram stop

Please report it to your local council.
