Antisocial Behaviour in Street Name/Location |

Antisocial Behaviour in Highfield Road Dear Resident Officers been investigating complaints of antisocial behaviour in the Highfield Road / Spring Rise Park area and the use of electric motorbikes. Officers have witnessed electric bikes using Highfield Road, the Spring Rise play park and Highfield Road park as a cut through, often with the riders using excessive speeds and not wearing any appropriate protective clothing. On Wednesday 29th October 2025, officers have managed to seize an electric bike on Spring Rise park, the bike has been seen within the area previously attending different addresses. At this time the bike rider has made off from officers and has not been located. Images of the bike can be seen below. Officers have been exploring options to reduce the use of both Spring Rise park and Highfield Road park as cut throughs for these types of bike. One of the options being explored is a K-barrier, these allow pushchairs, wheelchairs and push bikes through but make an area inaccessible for off road motor bikes. Below is an image of what the K-barrier would look like and any feedback is welcomed in response to this email. Did you witness anything? Have you seen these bikes using the area? Did you see anyone or any vehicle(s) in the area that looked suspicious? If so, then please contact Northamptonshire Police on 101 quoting ref: 25000635452. Alternatively you can report online here. You can also pass on information anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. Security tips and crime prevention advice can be found on the Northamptonshire Police website and on the Neighbourhood Watch website.
