Theft of a Purse from a car in St. Margaret's Avenue Rushden

Overnight on 8-9th January 2026 a white Mercedes car was entered broken into in St. Margaret's Avenue Rushden - near to the Wellingborough Road end, and a purse was stolen. This is just one of an increasing number of break-ins to cars that we are seeing in the Rushden and Higham Ferrers area and would remind you to avoid leaving any valuables inside your vehicles.
