Dear Resident
We are appealing for information after an incident of vehicle interference in The Drive, Wellingborough.
The incident occurred between 5.05am & 5.10am on Thursday 5th February 2026.
An as yet unknown offender has gained access to a car, completed a search, but did not find anything of value inside to steal.
We are keen to hear from anyone who may have any information relating to this incident, or that may have been in the area around the time of the incident and heard or seen anything suspicious. Please call us on 101 quoting reference number 26000070424 or report to us online here.

There are some simple but effective things you can do to help protect your vehicle: Park your car in a garage or driveway if possible, or on a busy, well-lit road. Choose a ParkMark® accredited public car park wherever possible Never leave anything on display in your car. The cost to repair damage to the vehicle will usually exceed the value of the theft Drivers of some Toyota and Honda vehicles and some 4 x 4’s should install measures to deter theft of catalytic converts e.g Catloc | Catalytic Convertor Theft Protection Lock your vehicle every time you leave it, even for a short period Check windows are fully closed Do not leave keys inside the vehicle Consider security measures such as steering wheel locks, alarms, and dashcams Report suspicious activity immediately via 101 or 999 in an emergency
