It has been reported that unauthorised QR code stickers have been placed in the area. These codes may direct users to unsafe or fraudulent websites, which could put your personal information, device security, or financial details at risk.

What you need to do:

Do not scan any QR code found on stickers, posters, or signs unless you are certain it is from an official, trusted source.

If you have already scanned one and were taken to a suspicious webpage, please close the page immediately and avoid entering any personal information.

Consider running a virus scan on your device if you interacted with any suspicious link.

Please report any such stickers you see in the neighbourhood so that we can arrange for their removal.
