Theft from a car on Hazelwood Road, Northampton

Dear Resident

We are appealing for information after registration plates were stolen from a car in Hazelwood Road, Northampton

The theft occurred between 8:00pm on 06/03/2026 & 7:00am on the 07/03/2026 when the number plates were stolen from the vehicle whilst it was parked on Hazelwood Road.

We are keen to hear from anyone who may have any information relating to the theft of these items or that may have been in the area around the time of the incident and heard or seen anything suspicious. Please call us on 101 quoting reference number 26000133355 or report to us online here.

There are some simple but effective things you can do to help protect your vehicle:

Park your car in a garage or driveway if possible, or on a busy, well-lit road. Choose a ParkMark® accredited public car park wherever possible

Never leave anything on display in your car. The cost to repair damage to the vehicle will usually exceed the value of the theft

Drivers of some Toyota and Honda vehicles and some 4 x 4’s should install measures to deter theft of catalytic converts e.g Catloc | Catalytic Convertor Theft Protection
