Update from Warrant on Bedford Road

I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Drug dealing/misuse, which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey.

Following the warrant I made you aware of yesterday at an address on Bedford Road, Rushden where a cannabis factory was located, I can confirm that a 31 year old male has been charged with the offence of Producing a Controlled Drug of Class B and has been remanded in custody awaiting trial. The investigation will continue while the offender remains in custody to ensure the best possible chance of a conviction.

Again, I would like to thank those that reported the suspicious activity to us. This email explains how you can report suspicious activity to the Police.

The illicit drugs market is big business, worth an estimated £9.4 billion a year and drug deaths have reached an all-time.
