Public Appeal: Stay Vigilant Around Anglian Water Treatment Works in Northamptonshire

We are asking members of the public to remain vigilant around Anglian Water treatment works across Northamptonshire and to report anything that appears suspicious or out of the ordinary.

Water treatment sites are part of our region’s critical infrastructure, playing a vital role in providing clean and safe water to homes, businesses, and essential services. The safety and security of these sites is extremely important.

A spokesperson for Northamptonshire Police said:

“We are not asking people to change their routines or go out of their way to look for issues. This appeal is simply about being a little more vigilant while you are out and about enjoying the Northamptonshire countryside, whether that’s walking, cycling, fishing, or using leisure facilities. If you notice something that doesn’t feel right near water treatment works, we ask that you report it and let us check it out.”
