Community open day, 16 August at Wicksteed Park |

Meet your local emergency service personnel at this year’s Community Open Day
Free to enter, this year’s event will take place on Sunday, 16 August at Wicksteed Park from 11am to 4pm.
The event follows two successful Open Days held last year that saw teams from Northamptonshire Police, Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service and the Office of Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner Danielle Stone come together at Wicksteed Park and Delapre Abbey.
Visitors will have the chance to explore service vehicles like the Joint Command Unit, take a closer look at specialist equipment, and speak directly with teams from across the services to learn helpful safety advice.
The highlight of the day will be the display arena, where Police, Fire and Cadets will bring their work to life with exciting live demonstrations to show off their skills, teamwork and equipment.
Whether people are considering a future career in the emergency services or just want to find out more about what they do - there is something for everyone. | ||
