Our priorities are set for a six month period and reviewed every three months to ensure we continue to deal with what matters most to local people, taking account of feedback shared in our local priorities survey and local crime data.

Burglary

You said, we did – an update on the work carried out by neighbourhood officers to tackle local priorities during the period from April 2025 to July 2025.
• Fourteen reassurance visits were carried out to victims of burglary of a home
• Four reassurance visits were carried out to victims of attempted burglaries

You Said, We Did - September 2024 to March 2025
• Smart Water Kits have been issued to those who have indicated that burglary was a concern in the last LIP survey
• Four crime prevention roadshows have taken place regarding home security and safety advice
• All victims who have reported a burglary have received a reassurance visit

Drug Dealing and Drug Misuse

You said, we did – an update on the work carried out by neighbourhood officers to tackle local priorities during the period from April 2025 to July 2025.
• Sixteen intelligence logs have been submitted relating to drug dealing or misuse
• Three people have been charged/summoned to court for drug related offences
• One community resolution has been issued for drug possession
• One warrant was executed for a cannabis factory, and the suspect was charged and remanded

You Said, We Did - September 2024 to March 2025
• Three warrants have been executed in relation to drug offences in the local area, namely cannabis factories and drug supply. Investigations into these are still ongoing
• Unrelated to the warrants, seven people have been dealt with for drug related offences during this time and have been offered a diversionary course to help deal with their addiction
• Officers have used Stop and Search powers on nine occasions, resulting in seven positive outcomes for drug offences
• Over 40 intelligence logs have been submitted in relation to drug offences

Road Safety and Road Traffic Offences

You said, we did – an update on the work carried out by neighbourhood officers to tackle local priorities during the period from April 2025 to July 2025
• Three tickets have been issued for use of a mobile phone and no seatbelt
• Two intelligence logs have been submitted
• Over 50 reassurance visits were carried out relating to theft and vehicle interference visits

You Said, We Did - September 2024 to March 2025
• 18 tickets/summons/S59 warning have been issued
• Speed enforcement locations have been completed across East Northants, including, but not limited to, Upper Benefield, Oundle, Higham Ferrers and Rushden
• Over ten intelligence logs have been submitted in relation to road safety and traffic offences
• Traffic enforcement regarding poor parking has occurred at various primary schools across East Northants
• Nine vehicles have been seized for various offences including driving with no insurance, no MOT and no tax
• Various crimes have been investigated for offences such as dangerous driving, driving whilst over the prescribed limit, or driving whilst disqualified
• Reassurance visits have been carried out to those who have been a victim of vehicle crime
