Priority	Action taken
Road safety and road traffic offences Issued 14 October 2026	• We continue to carry out regular speed enforcement activity in key hotspot areas highlighted by the community, issuing warning letters where most appropriate and fixed penalty notices to others for speeding offences. • We have seized 15 vehicles in this period for offences such as no insurance or no MOT. • We have made four arrests relating to road safety offences such a drink and drug driving and disqualified driving. • We have issued a total of 20 fixed penalty notices for road safety offences such as speeding and driving standards and reported 14 further drivers for summons for offences. • Working alongside partners, we continue to carry out parking patrols outside local schools issuing tickets to offending vehicles where appropriate. Drug dealing and drug misuse Issued 14 October 2026	• Following information from the community, we have secured four arrests relating to drug offences. • We have also secured seven charges and 12 out of court disposals for drug related offences. • We have executed multiple warrants relating to drug offences following intelligence from the community. • We continue to carry out regular checks at the addresses of those identified as being vulnerable to being exploited by drug dealers (cuckooing). Burglary Issued 14 October 2026	• We continue to support with burglary investigations visiting the area of every domestic burglary, carrying out proactive patrols in areas to prevent further offences, supporting vulnerable victims, and working with other agencies to provide security advice. The new priorities for this period (October 2026 to March 2027) are: • ASB nuisance motorcycles • Road safety and road traffic offences • Drug dealing and drug misuse Issued 25 September 2026	Our priorities are set for a six month period and reviewed every three months to ensure we continue to deal with what matters most to local people, taking account of feedback shared in our local priorities survey and local crime data.
