The Neighbourhood Alert messaging system enables residents, businesses and community groups to keep in touch with local policing teams. Road Safety & Traffic Matters

You said, we did – an update on the work carried out by neighbourhood officers to tackle local priorities during the period from April 2025 to July 2025
• Officers stopped an electric bike and arrested an individual for insurance offences and under the influence of alcohol. The bike was also seized.
• A converted e-bike was seized
• An e-scooter used to evade police and shoplifting was seized from a suspect in the town centre

You Said, We Did - October 2024 to March 2025
• The Neighbourhood team have issued 45 traffic tickets for various offences, including careless driving and no insurance
Speed gun operations have commenced within Wellingborough

Drug Dealing & Misuse

You said, we did – an update on the work carried out by neighbourhood officers to tackle local priorities during the period from April 2025 to July 2025
• A S23 misuse of drugs stop and search resulted in officers seizing a knife. The suspect was arrested and charged
• A suspect was arrested for possession with intent to supply Class A drugs
• Officers conducted a S8 PACE warrant at and address suspected to be involved in the dealing of Class A and Class B drugs
• A cannabis factory was located and an individual has been arrested
• 300 people attended a beat bus and were given crime prevention materials, including burglary prevention items.
• Officers have been delivering Smartwater kits in Wellingborough and surrounding villages

You Said, We Did - October 2024 to March 2025
•There have been 97 drug related incidents recorded – 67 for drug possession and 30 in relation to drug trafficking
•14 people have been charged, 26 have received community resolutions and five have received cautions
•In March 2025, an officer discovered a possession with intent offence which led to a further suspect being located and hundreds of wraps of a Class A substance, valued at thousands of pounds, being seized. This was a new drug line that was being introduced to Wellingborough
