The Neighbourhood Alert messaging system enables residents, businesses and community groups to keep in touch with local policing teams. You can choose to receive updates on crimes, latest information on on-going incidents and learn more about what events are being planned in your area. You can also respond to messages to ask questions or give feedback to your local policing team.

You're invited to sign up and become a registered recipient of messages relevant to the area where you live or work.

We also offer you the opportunity to choose the type of messages you wish to receive.

The new priorities for this period (April to September) are: • Road Safety & Road Traffic Offences • Burglary • Drug Dealing & Drug Misuse Issued 01 July 2025	Our priorities are set for a six month period and reviewed every three months to ensure we continue to deal with what matters most to local people, taking account of feedback shared in our local priorities survey and local crime data. Burglary Issued 01 October 2024	You Said, We Did - October 2024 to March 2025 •Officers have attended numerous Beat Bus surgeries and Crimestoppers events where we’ve been able to speak with local people and share crime prevention advice •We have also shared crime information and prevention advice with members of the Northamptonshire Talking community messaging system •Hotspot patrols have taken place in areas affected by burglary and ‘Stand up to Crime’ information packs have been distributed. Drug Dealing and Drug Misuse Issued 01 October 2024	You Said, We Did - October 2024 to March 2025 •Throughout December, January and February, we executed 15 positive drug warrants, located and dismantled multiple cannabis grows, and identified numerous suspects in possession of drugs through stop and search and vehicle stops. This has been possible due to information and intelligence gathered to support officers in tackling your locally identified priorities. •A large-scale drugs operation was completed resulting in eight warrants being executed under the Misuse of Drugs Act. Eleven people were charged with conspiracy to supply Class A and are awaiting trial. Actioned 01 April 2025
Road Safety and Road Traffic Offences Issued 01 October 2024	You Said, We Did - October 2024 to March 2025 •Tickets have been issued for various traffic offences along London Road and Penvale Road, including for speeding, driving with no insurance and driving otherwise in accordance with a licence •Officers have given words of advice and issued tickets issued for varying driving offences at multiple locations across Northampton •Traffic operations and speed enforcement and monitoring has been conducted at various locations •Multiple vehicle stops have taken place, including one vehicle stopped as a result of information from the community about illegal vehicle modifications Actioned 01 April 2025
